I’m delighted to comment on our experience with Federico for the 3 weeks that he became our home chef. Serving a dinner meal each evening was much more than I expected. It was definitely a full dining pleasure with a beautiful presentation, consistently. Off he would venture to the market, selecting the freshest, seasonal, nutritious items needed for our dining pleasure. He truly had an art on combining fresh ground spices that enhanced his every course. His creative soups, made from scratch with the seasonal produce, surpassed many that I’ve tasted at some of the finest restaurants throughout Europe, Africa, USA , Greece, Mexico and Argentina. Every evening he would make choice suggestions for our next gourmet dinner. Our entrees served with fresh vegetables were selective & prepared to perfection. Wonderful selection and an array of variety. His love for cooking, creativity and years of experience was indeed obvious. The salads were devine and could have been a “stand alone meal” again with the freshest fruits, vegetables & nuts. And to top it off, always a unique and delectable dessert. There was one chocolate mousse that I will truly remember for ever! I believe it was his mother’s recipe & he even called his sister to confirm the preparation. PERFECT and impressive! It was our last evening celebration which ended with a second serving for me of this most scrumptious, rich chocolate mousse I’ve ever had.
